I’m Andy Thornton, a certerfied level 4 personal trainer and 200 hour yoga teacher.

With close to a decade of expereince in different aspects of fitness, I bring a varried background and depth of knowledge to all of my serives.

Growing up through childhood and teen years very disconnected from anything related to physical activity and labeling myself in a deeply neagtive way, it took a big change to bring me to the place I am today. So I know what it feels like to feel weak, unconfident, uncapable and like you dont belong in any fitness space.

For me, it all started with martial arts. That led into yoga, movement, calisthenics, climbing, functional training and weight lifting. The foundation, and the reason that my journey continues on today, was in the community and sense of belonging I found in my early martial arts training.

It’s that same positive enviroment that I take into my career as a fitness professional now. Leading with empathy. Creating that supported space. Making every client, every class and every memeber of my gym feel that they belong here and are part of a community.

My own training is still evolving to this day. Different activities shift and come in and out of focus over time, but im always looking to grow and develop. Inovating with the newest and most interesting styles of training, while also still keeping it grounded in the basics and the things that I love doing most!
